Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) govern your purchase of our digital books (“Ebook“) on the website www.nrochemistry.com. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle“), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders placed through this Website. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, refunds, and disputes related to your payment. By purchasing our Ebook, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, as well as Paddle’s Buyer Terms available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not purchase our Ebook. These Terms apply to all users, regardless of their location, and they should be reviewed periodically as they may be updated.

 

1. Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refer to NROChemistry, operated by Júlia Štefková – Milk and Silk Studio, the Supplier of the Ebook.
  • “Paddle” refers to Paddle.com Market Ltd, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, who processes your order and payment on our behalf.
    “You”, “Your” refer to the customer or user of our website.
  • “Website” refers to the website www.nrochemistry.com.
  • “Supplier Agreement” means these Terms, which govern the relationship between you and the Supplier regarding the Ebook, separate from Paddle’s Buyer Terms which govern the checkout transaction itself.

2. Purchase and Payment

  • The Ebook is available for purchase through this Website as an instant PDF download after a successful payment.
  • Your order is placed with Paddle.com Market Ltd, our authorised reseller. You purchase the Ebook from Paddle, and the Ebook is licensed to you by us as the Supplier, under these Terms.
  • Paddle accepts a range of payment methods and currencies at checkout. Prices, applicable taxes (such as VAT), and the final currency are calculated and displayed by Paddle before you complete your payment.
  • Paddle securely processes all payments in accordance with its own security standards. We do not have access to, and do not store, any payment card details on our servers.
  • After a successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation and receipt/invoice from Paddle. Your bank or card statement will display a payment to “NROCHEM”.
  • Purchases made in a currency other than your local currency may be subject to currency conversion fees applied by your card issuer or bank. Neither we nor Paddle are responsible for such additional charges.
  • In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, Paddle manages the resolution process as Merchant of Record. You may also contact us at lluis@nrochemistry.com if you have questions about the Ebook itself. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Ebook if a chargeback is initiated. Any false claims or fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action to recover the amounts owed.

3. Delivery

  • Once Paddle confirms your payment, a unique link will direct you to a page where you can download your PDF. The same link will be sent to your email.
  • You may open the link and download the eBook a maximum of 2 times for personal use only. Download is not automatic. You have to save the ebook to your device after opening the link.
  • The download link will expire 15 days from your purchase date or after 4 download attempts. It is your responsibility to download and save the Ebook promptly after purchase.
  • Creating more than 2 copies and sharing the ebook with a third party is considered copyright violation unless you have written permission from the author to do that.
  • If you encounter any issues with downloading the Ebook, please contact us by email at lluis@nrochemistry.com for assistance. If we do not receive any communication from you within the 15-day period from the date of purchase, we will consider the ebook successfully delivered to you.

4. Refunds and Returns

  • Refund requests are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. You can request a refund by contacting Paddle directly through the link provided in your order confirmation/receipt, or by contacting us at lluis@nrochemistry.com and we will coordinate with Paddle on your behalf.
  • We do not generally accept cancellations, returns, or refunds for digital Ebooks once the download link has been delivered. All sales of digital products are, as a rule, final.
  • By purchasing and downloading the Ebook, you expressly agree that the digital content will be made available to you immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right to withdraw from the contract, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
  • If the Ebook is found to be defective or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement in accordance with the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Such refunds, where approved, will be processed by Paddle.

5. License and Use

  • Your purchase of the Ebook grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it solely for personal purposes.
  • You may not share, resell, or distribute the Ebook or any part of the Ebook to others without the prior written permission of the author.
  • The Ebook may include digital rights management (DRM) technology that restricts copying, printing, or sharing. Any attempt to circumvent or tamper with the DRM is strictly prohibited.

5.1. Business purchases

  • A business entity that buys the ebook cannot share it with its employees without prior written consent from the author. Please reach out to us at lluis@nrochemistry.com for further information on obtaining permission.
  • If you require an invoice issued to your company, Paddle, as Merchant of Record, issues the official invoice/receipt for your purchase automatically at checkout. If you need this invoice to reflect your Company ID and VAT ID, please ensure these details are entered correctly at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in the Ebook and any related content are owned by the author of the book.
  • Unauthorized use of the Ebook or any part of its content is strictly prohibited.

7. Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our Website, the purchase, or the use of our Ebook.
  • Our total liability to you, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Ebook.
  • Paddle’s liability to you as Merchant of Record is governed separately by Paddle’s own Buyer Terms.

8. Privacy

    8.1. Customer Reviews

    • You may receive an email requesting a product review after your purchase. For processing reviews, we use a trusted third-party service provider, CusRev.
    • Reviews submitted must be truthful, relevant, and comply with our content guidelines. We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews containing inappropriate language, spam, or false claims.
    • Reviews may be displayed on our website, marketing materials, or other platforms to help other customers learn about our products.

    9. Governing Law

    • These Terms, as they relate to the Ebook itself (the Supplier Agreement), are governed by the laws of Poland. The courts of Poland shall resolve any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms, without affecting your rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
    • The checkout transaction and your relationship with Paddle as Merchant of Record are governed separately by Paddle’s own Buyer Terms and applicable law as stated therein.
    • We are open to resolving any disputes directly; please contact us at lluis@nrochemistry.com.
    • Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude any of your rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

    Orders are placed with, and payments processed by, Paddle.com Market Ltd, registered office at 3 Berkeley Street, 1st Floor, Charlotte House, London, W1J 8NE, United Kingdom, acting as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller.
